With over 50 people auditioning for Ride the Cyclone, the production team was left with some very difficult decisions. 

Everyone who auditioned was incredibly talented. This cast could have gone 10 different ways.

 

Please know that if you did not make the cast, we STRONGLY encourage you to audition for our spring musical, bare, or our summer musical, Jesus Christ Superstar, that both have big casts. We are also doing Romeo and Juliet this winter, if you want to join that production class. Jen will also be leading a technical theatre class that will be doing costumes, props, set construction and stage managing for this production, if you'd still like to be involved.

For everyone who was cast, we want you to know that the production team is dedicated to making this a memorable, educational and enjoyable experience for everyone. We are all very excited about pushing you all to new heights as performers. 

Karnak will physically be on stage the entire show. We have a lot of creative ideas for Virgil and the Underworlds. They will be on stage most of the time, helping tell the story of the choir students, as well as dancing and singing in each song.

Cast A and Cast B will each get two performances. Stacy and Brittany will split rehearsal time with Cast A working with Brittany, while Cast B works with Stacy, then we will switch halfway through each rehearsal. For dance rehearsals everyone will learn together.

 

Our first cast meeting in Thursday, September 19th from 6-9pm in our studio space by Lake Loveland (we don't move downtown until Oct 1st). We will go over contracts, policies, the rehearsal schedule and expectations.
