Tech Theatre Class
flexible schedule
Tech Theatre students will dive into the world of technical theatre, gaining hands-on experience in set design, set construction, creating props, costume design and stage management. Our dedicated staff have a background in the performing arts, having produced over 175 musicals or plays in the last 20 years. Students will learn the intricacies of the backstage realm, ensuring they develop a versatile skill set that's in high demand.
Find Your Light's tech theatre program prioritizes individualized attention, fostering a close-knit community where students' passions for technical theatre can flourish.
This class will follow the rehearsal process for the following productions: 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Frost-T the Showman and Ride the Cyclone. Class will meeting Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from September-January. There will be days off for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Winter Break. Hours and meeting times can be flexible based on the student.

Monday evenings
Sometimes things become so familiar we forget what they are.
Romeo and Juliet pervaded our pop culture,
but when was the last time you REALLY read it?
Join us for an exploration into Shakespeare's most famous play.
Love story? I think not. What do you think?

Starting September 16th we will be reading, discussing, analyzing and bastardizing this most well know of the bard’s work.
This class will also be performing the script "Romeo and Juliet" for a live audience.
Class Meetings: Monday nights from 5-6pm beginning September 16th.
There will be time off for Halloween and Thanksgiving. We project this class will end in December, but we are leaving that flexible based on possible performance dates.
Tuition: $150
